The 2026 biennial Textile Palette Exhibition aims to showcase and celebrate the work of established and emerging textile and fibre artists. In collaboration with THE WAREHOUSE CLUNES of the Hepburn Shire Council, this is a fully accessible non-acquisitive exhibition providing a gallery space for artists to exhibit and promote their work to a wider regional audience.
STUFF: Purpose, profit and peril explores humanity’s complex relationship with material things. It considers how objects, ranging from everyday items and luxury goods to waste and heirlooms, reflect our values, drive economic systems, and impact the environment. Exhibiting artists reflect on the things we accumulate, why we accumulate them, and the results of our choices, raising timely questions about emotional attachment, consumerism, sustainability, and global inequity.
OPENING: You are invited to celebrate the 10year anniversary of Textile Palette, with the artists whose works form this year’s exhibition, along with friends, collectors, sponsors, and community members who support and value regional arts.
